It’s a Wrap
A beautiful stay at Crossing Creeks Farm outside of Nashville. We had some great, warm sun but, this was lost on Laura as she continued to recover in bed. I took her to the emergency dept of the local Vanderbilt hospital at 3am on Tuesday as she was getting panicky about her breathing. They cleared her with some instructions for us. Although her covid is better, she is not handling the travel well. Laura has debilitating anxiety and this plays into breathing distress and leg spasms in a big way. I wish we knew how to fix this but, it’s a deep-seated fear of leaving this world and all she knows. We wish she had a sustaining belief to trust and abide but, that’s not easy when you are 32 watching the world pass you by.
Therefore, we head home today. A short-lived journey where we spend money and go no where :) I’m so glad to support local business by just making and breaking reservations 🥴
Think of us. Pray for us. We are going on many days with very little sleep and the frequent sound of a siren (for those of you with FAers I know you can relate and I’m sorry).
I will bring my blog to a close and go back to reporting health news on Caringbridge.
Thanks for riding along for 4 long days!
Margaret
So sorry Laura got Covid. You are all heroic. Love, Mark and Judy
ReplyDeleteThinking of you and praying for your family, Margaret. Safe travels back home, where Laura will find familiarity and hopefully, comfort and continued healing❤️❤️❤️

ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that things took this turn.I am praying for safe travels back to Rochester, especially on little sleep. Lord, we ask that you would put your loving arms around Laura and heal her of all COVID systems and protect her mind from the anxious thoughts, the physical pain in her chest that comes along with extreme anxiety and panic attacks, a lack of hope and overwhelming fear of what's to come. We know none of this comes from you, Lord. Please build a hedge of protection around her mind so the enemy CANNOT PREVAIL! Please give Margaret and Bob strength and patience as they endure yet another trail. Please heal Margaret's hip. I can only imagine that they are getting or are at their wits ends. You tell us there's hope when we are there. "They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, And are at their wits’ end. Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed."
I love you all!! MB
